Time is the artist.

Chapter I

A life in six stages

Every artifact starts polished. Hold it and time does the rest: the surface dulls, corrosion spreads, cracks open, moss creeps in. Tap a stage to see it in the time machine.

    Chapter II

    Every mark is a memory

Five things leave a mark, and all of them are written onchain. No two pieces share a history, so no two look the same.

    Chapter III

    The Kiln

Fire your piece for a chance at a gold kintsugi seam. The chance grows every day since its last gold and resets when it wins. Patience is cheaper than luck.

    1. 1
FirePay the firing fee in STRK. Every firing leaves heat marks on the piece; firing again within the cooldown costs the rush fee.
    2. 2
Wait for the next blockThe roll comes from a block hash nobody knows yet, so nobody can retry until they win. It's readable about 11 blocks later.
    3. 3
Gold or ashWin and a gold seam is fused into the art. Lose and your chance keeps climbing. Up to 12 seams; 8 makes a Wanderer.

      Questions

      Before you mint

      Is the art really onchain?

Yes. The contract computes every SVG from the token's seed and history whenever it's read. There's no IPFS link or server to go offline.

      What resets when I sell?

The hold timer, so corrosion starts over for the new owner. Scratches, gold seams, rings and a Relic frame stay with the piece forever.

Does listing on a marketplace reset it?

No. Approvals and listings don't touch the history. Only a transfer does, including a marketplace that takes custody of the NFT.

      How fair is the Kiln?

Your chance is fixed when you fire. The roll comes from the hash of the block after your firing, which doesn't exist yet when you send it, so nobody can cancel and retry for a better result.

What do I need to mint?

A Starknet wallet (Ready or Braavos) and STRK for the price and gas. On testnet, the faucet gives free STRK.

      When are traits revealed?

After the mint closes. Until then every piece is unfired clay, so nobody can pick rare token IDs.
